Im from Peru and my husband is from USA, we knew each other while he was in Irak because he is a soldier and he was in the war. We talked for 7 months, then he decided to come to Peru and visit me and met my family.
He came to meet me in Julio 2004, We spent a week together and absolutely after this moment we knew we want to be together. he came back to US and start the paperwork to get a fiancee visa, he came to Peru for second time in February 2005, he asked my father for his permission to marry me, then he took me to a fancy restaurant and ask me if I wanted to marry him and of course I said "YES", He spent a whole month in Peru with me, we were together in my birthday, valentins da, his birthday, I knew he was going to be my husband since the first time that I met him.
I got my visa in March 2005 and came to US in April 2005, I married him in May of the same year and this May 2006 was our first wedding anniversary. Im the happiest woman and we have the mot beautiful baby, we love each other so much and we wanna say thank you to latinamericancupid because of this we met. Something else I want to say to all the girls, Its real, plz just be patient, be always yourself and you will find the man of your lives.

I met a wonderful woman - a soulmate - who has been more wonderful in person that the profile that she initially wrote on your site. We met on Latin American Cupid in late September of 2005 and found that we were very much alike - in our views on many things. We talked about getting together - and our schedules seemed to make that difficult. However, in late January of 2006 I traveled to Cali and we spent a wonderful week together. We are now engaged and plan on marrying later this year - pending all the details of the visa process, etc. Thank you very much!!
